Born in a pious and God fearing family, she was in the Congregation when it was passing through troubled times. God used her multifaceted personality to bring new life into an ailing community. Her quality of intelligence, judgement, administration and farsightedness, along with the generous support of her affluent family, worked wonders for the Congregation. She opened many convents, encouraged all types of initiatives to help downtrodden women. She was indeed God’s Gift to the Franciscan Sisters of Bon Secours
