As Bon Secours Sisters, we are members of the Franciscan Family that has more than 116,000 members in over four hundred congregations and institutes observing the Rule and Life of the Sisters of the Third Order Regular of St. Francis.
From the beginning of Our Congregation, the ideals of Saint Francis were an inspirational force in the life of Our Congregation’s Memoirs recounts; the sisters take great delight in considering themselves true daughters of St. Francis.
Imbued with the spirit of Saint Francis, our spirituality draws upon the values and ideals of Saint Francis. Like Saint Francis, we live in simplicity, humility and self denial, opening ourselves to a life of continual conversion. .
